Mathilde Hignet is a French politician and former agricultural worker who has served as a member of the National Assembly for Ille-et-Vilaine's 4th constituency since 2022. Born in Rennes, she comes from a family of farmers and holds a degree in agricultural science. Before entering politics, she worked on her family's fruit farm and in elderly care facilities. A member of La France insoumise, she was first elected under the NUPES coalition and was re-elected in 2024 as part of the New Popular Front. She serves on the Committee on Economic Affairs.
