Mathukumilli Bharat is an Indian educationist and politician currently serving as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha, representing the Visakhapatnam constituency. Beyond his political career, he serves as the President of the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) and is the founder of the Kautilya School of Public Policy in Hyderabad. Bharat holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a joint MBA/MA in Education from Stanford University. He is a member of the Telugu Desam Party and won his parliamentary seat in the 2024 Indian General Elections.
