Matilde Celentano

Matilde Celentano is an Italian politician and physician who has served as the Mayor of Latina since May 2023. She is the first woman to hold this office. Before her election as mayor, she served as a municipal councilor in Latina, where she was a prominent member of the Brothers of Italy party. A medical professional by training, she holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Sapienza University of Rome and specializes in physical therapy and rehabilitation. Her political career is defined by her leadership within the center-right coalition.
