Carlo Masci

Carlo Masci is an Italian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Pescara. A law graduate from the University of Parma, he began his career as a lawyer before entering local politics in 1994. Throughout his career, he has served as a city councilor, a provincial councilor, and a member of the Abruzzo Regional Council, where he held the position of assessor for budget and institutional reforms. First elected mayor in 2019 and reconfirmed in 2026, his administration has faced scrutiny regarding public procurement practices, environmental management, and various judicial investigations. Despite these controversies, he remains a prominent figure in the center-right political landscape of Abruzzo.
