Matthew Bach

Matthew Bach is an Australian teacher, historian, and former politician who served as a Liberal member of the Victorian Legislative Council from 2020 to 2023. During his parliamentary tenure, he held several shadow cabinet portfolios, including Education and Child Protection, and served as the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council. Known for his moderate political positions, he resigned from parliament in December 2023 to return to his career as an educator in the United Kingdom.
