Matthew Doyle, Baron Doyle

Matthew Leo Doyle, Baron Doyle, is a British political adviser and life peer who serves as a member of the House of Lords. A long-time Labour Party strategist, he previously served as Downing Street Director of Communications under Prime Minister Keir Starmer from 2024 to 2025. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, including Political Director of Blair's office. In 2026, he was created a life peer, though he was subsequently suspended from the Labour Party following revelations regarding his past association with a convicted sex offender.
