Matthias Diependaele

Matthias Diependaele is a Belgian politician serving as the Minister-President of Flanders since 2024. A member of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), he previously held the positions of Flemish Minister for Finance, Budget, Housing and Immovable Heritage, and served as a member of the Flemish Parliament. Before his ministerial career, he was an alderman in Zottegem and the parliamentary leader for the N-VA in the Flemish Parliament. He holds a law degree from KU Leuven with a specialization in European and international law.
