Matthias Kollatz

Matthias Kollatz is a German politician and member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). He has served as a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin since 2016, representing the Steglitz-Zehlendorf 2 constituency. Previously, he held the position of Senator for Finance in Berlin from 2014 to 2021. Before entering state-level politics, Kollatz worked as a physicist and economist, serving as a Vice-President of the European Investment Bank and in various leadership roles within the Hessian state administration.
