Maxime Michelet

Maxime Michelet is a French politician and historian specializing in the 19th century. Elected as a deputy for the third constituency of the Marne in 2024, he also serves as a secretary of the National Assembly and as a municipal councillor in Épernay. Before entering politics, he worked as a school administrator at Lycée Fénelon in Paris and authored several historical works, including studies on Empress Eugénie and the presidency of Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte. He is affiliated with the right-wing faction of The Republicans.
