Maximilian Gotz

Maximilian Gotz is a German local politician serving as the Lord Mayor of the Upper Bavarian district town of Erding. A member of the Christian Social Union (CSU), he first entered the Erding city council in 1990 and later served as the chairman of the CSU faction. He was elected mayor in 2008 and has held the title of Lord Mayor since the city's elevation to a 'Große Kreisstadt' in 2013. Beyond his mayoral duties, he holds various supervisory board positions in local utility and foundation entities. He is a trained master tanner by profession.
