Meelis Kiili
Profile
Meelis Kiili is an Estonian politician and retired Major General who currently serves as a member of the Riigikogu. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished military career, serving as the commander of the Estonian Defence League from 2012 to 2019 and as the commandant of the Baltic Defence College. He joined the Estonian Defence Forces during their reconstruction in the 1990s and held various high-ranking positions, including military attaché to the United States and Canada. In 2015, he was included on a Russian list of sanctioned individuals.
