Vilja Toomast

Vilja Toomast is an Estonian politician serving as a Member of the Riigikogu. Born in Antsla, she graduated from the University of Tartu as a psychologist and teacher, later earning a Master's degree. Throughout her political career, she has been a member of several political parties, including the Independent Royalist Party of Estonia, the Estonian Centre Party, and later joining the Estonian Reform Party. She has served as a Member of the European Parliament, mayor of the Nõmme and Northern Tallinn districts, and has held leadership roles within sports federations such as the Estonian Volleyball Federation.
