Eerik-Niiles Kross is an Estonian politician, diplomat, and former intelligence official currently serving as a member of the Riigikogu. A prominent figure in the Estonian independence movement during the 1980s, he later served as the nation's intelligence coordinator and as a national security advisor to President Lennart Meri. Kross has held significant international roles, including advising the government of Georgia and working with the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq. Known as a vocal critic of Russian foreign policy, he has been a member of the Estonian Reform Party since 2014 and actively participates in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
