Mehmet Taytak is a Turkish politician and businessman currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for Afyonkarahisar. Born in 1959 in Bolvadin, he graduated from Gazi University's Faculty of Technical Education. Before his parliamentary career, he worked as an instructor in vocational education and held various leadership positions within the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and its predecessor, the Nationalist Task Party. He has been a prominent figure in the party's central executive boards and served as a deputy secretary general. He was elected to the 27th and 28th terms of the Turkish Parliament.
