Melanie Kühnemann-Grunow

Melanie Kühnemann-Grunow is a German politician and member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 1988, she previously served in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district assembly for fifteen years. Professionally, she worked in the Berlin school system and later in the Senate Department for Labour, Integration and Women. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has held various leadership roles, including chairing the BER II investigative committee and serving as deputy parliamentary group leader. Her policy focus areas have included youth and family affairs, queer politics, and interior security.
