Melitza Orellana

Melitza Orellana is a Venezuelan politician and member of the National Assembly of Venezuela. She has been a long-time activist, beginning her political involvement as a high school student in 1999, the same year Hugo Chávez first assumed the presidency. As a representative affiliated with the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, she has advocated for patriotic, ethical, and democratic national development. She continues to serve in the legislature, representing the interests of her constituents in Apure.
