Melly Goeslaw

Melly Goeslaw is an Indonesian politician, singer, songwriter, and actress who currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Before entering politics, she achieved widespread fame as one of Indonesia's most successful musicians, known for her work with the band Potret and as a prolific composer of film soundtracks, including the iconic 'Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?'. In 2023, she joined the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) and successfully transitioned into a career in national politics.
