Merav Michaeli is an Israeli politician, journalist, and feminist activist currently serving as a member of the Knesset. Before entering politics, she had a prominent career in Israeli media as a television anchor, radio broadcaster, and columnist for Haaretz. She served as the leader of the Labor Party from 2021 to 2024 and held the position of Minister of Transport and Road Safety in the thirty-sixth government of Israel. Throughout her career, Michaeli has been a vocal advocate for gender equality, social-democratic policies, and a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
