Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is a Turkish politician and diplomat currently serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. A founding member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), he previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey from 2014 to 2015 and again from 2015 to 2023. Earlier in his career, he was the president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 2010 to 2012. Çavuşoğlu is known for his extensive involvement in international diplomacy, including his work on migration and regional stability in the Caucasus.
