Michaël Weber is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Moselle department since 2023. He previously gained national attention in 1995 when he was elected mayor of Wœlfling-lès-Sarreguemines at the age of 21, becoming the youngest mayor in France at that time. Beyond his municipal service, he served as the President of the Federation of Regional Natural Parks of France starting in 2016. He was appointed a Knight of the Legion of Honour in 2017 for his contributions to public life.
