Michael Lühmann is a German politician and non-fiction author who has served as a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony since 2022. Born in Leipzig, he studied history and political science at the universities of Leipzig and Göttingen before working as a research associate at the Göttingen Institute for Democracy Research. A member of Alliance 90/The Greens, he has also served in local government in Bovenden and is an active contributor to political discourse through his writings on East German history and right-wing extremism.
