Franz Bergmüller

Franz Bergmüller is a German politician serving as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since 2018. Before entering state politics, he worked as a restaurateur, butcher, and real estate entrepreneur, and previously held local government roles as a municipal councilor and deputy mayor in Feldkirchen-Westerham for the CSU. He later joined the Free Voters and founded an association for the preservation of Bavarian pub culture before joining the AfD in 2013. Bergmüller is known for his critical stance on state regulations, particularly within the hospitality industry, and currently serves on the Committee for Economic Affairs, Regional Development, Energy, Media and Digitalization.
