Michael Megna is an Australian politician currently serving as the Mayor of the City of Canada Bay. A lifelong resident of the area and a third-generation local, he has been a prominent community representative for over three decades. He was first elected to the former Drummoyne Council in 1987, where he served as both a councillor and mayor, before transitioning to the City of Canada Bay Council following its 2000 merger. Professionally, Megna is a Chartered Tax Advisor who has operated a business in Five Dock since 1974. Throughout his political career, he has been a strong advocate for local infrastructure, including river transport services and the development of the Bay Run, and he continues to focus on core services, local planning, and addressing traffic congestion for his constituents.
