Michael Morgan is an American politician serving as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives. He rose to prominence in the 2020 general election when he successfully defeated the incumbent Democratic Speaker of the House, Mitzi Johnson, in the Grand Isle-Chittenden district. Following a recount that confirmed his victory by a narrow margin of 20 votes, he assumed his seat in the state legislature. He is a member of the Republican Party and continues to represent his constituents in the Vermont House.
