Michael Tannousis is an American politician and attorney currently serving as a member of the New York State Assembly, representing the 64th district. Born and raised on Staten Island to immigrant parents from Cyprus, he pursued a legal career as a prosecutor in Staten Island and The Bronx before entering public service. He also served as a counselor to New York City Councilman Joe Borelli. Tannousis was first elected to the State Assembly in 2020 and has since been re-elected to continue his legislative work in Albany.
