Micheál Carrigy is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Longford–Westmeath constituency since the 2024 general election. A member of the Fine Gael party, he previously served as a Senator on the Industrial and Commercial Panel from 2020 to 2024 and held the position of Cathaoirleach of Longford County Council. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he serves as the chair of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party and as Cathaoirleach of the Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage. Before entering national politics, he worked as a postmaster in Ballinalee.
