Michel Gonord

Michel Gonord is a French politician born on March 31, 1955, in Niort. He served as the mayor of Champagne-sur-Seine, first elected in 2014 and subsequently re-elected in 2020. Originally associated with the Divers Gauche, he later joined the Horizons party. In 2024, he became a member of the French National Assembly, succeeding Jean-Louis Thiériot after the latter was appointed as a minister. His parliamentary tenure has been marked by administrative discussions regarding his affiliation with the Droite Républicaine group.
