Michel Laugier is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Yvelines department since 2017. Before entering national politics, he held various local government positions, including serving as the Mayor of Montigny-le-Bretonneux from 2004 to 2017 and as President of the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines agglomeration. A member of the Union of Democrats and Independents, he is active in the Senate's Committee on Culture, Education and Communication and was appointed interim president of the Public Sénat television channel in 2024.
