Michel Rog is a Dutch politician and former trade union leader currently serving as the Mayor of Bloemendaal, a position he assumed in October 2024. Previously, he served as a member of the House of Representatives from 2012 to 2021 and as an alderman in Haarlem. Throughout his career, Rog has been affiliated with the Democrats 66, the Christian Democratic Appeal, and currently the New Social Contract party. He is recognized for his background in education and labor relations, having led the teachers' union CNV Onderwijs before entering national politics.
