Gom van Strien

Gom van Strien is a Dutch politician who has served as a member of the Senate of the Netherlands for the Party for Freedom (PVV) since 2011. Before his political career, he worked in various administrative and management roles, including at Statistics Netherlands, Rijkswaterstaat, and Utrecht University, where he served as managing director of Utrecht Holdings. In 2023, he was briefly appointed as a formation scout following the Dutch general election but resigned shortly after due to allegations of fraud related to his former employment. He remains a member of the Senate, where he primarily focuses on financial issues.
