Michele Carringer

Michele Carringer is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 16th district. Before her election to the state legislature in 2020, she served on the Knox County Commission, where she held the position of vice-chair. A member of the Republican Party, Carringer has served on various legislative committees, including Health, Immigration, and State and Local Government, and chairs the Population Health subcommittee. She is a member of the National Rifle Association and has publicly supported initiatives such as term limits for members of the United States Congress.
