Michele Lissia is an Italian politician serving as the Mayor of Pavia since June 2024. Born in Tempio Pausania, he moved to Pavia to pursue academic studies, earning degrees in political science and law, followed by a doctorate from the IUSS. Before his election as mayor, he worked as a journalist and held research roles at PoliS Lombardia. A member of the Democratic Party since 2013, he served as a city councilor and local party secretary. As mayor, he has focused on urban mobility, including the implementation of a 30 km/h speed limit project.
