Michele Sodano

Michele Sodano is an Italian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Agrigento, a position he assumed in June 2026. Previously, he served as a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies from 2018 to 2022, initially representing the Five Star Movement before moving to the Mixed Group. During his parliamentary tenure, he was noted for his work on budget legislation and his advocacy for the legalization of cannabis. Before entering politics, he worked in management and finance, including roles at the United Nations Development Programme and Wunderman.
