Michelle Welsh is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Sherwood Forest since 2024. Prior to her election to the House of Commons, she built a career in local government, serving as a councillor on the Gedling Borough Council for the Porchester ward and on the Nottinghamshire County Council for the Arnold South division. In addition to her political duties, she has served as a school governor at Arnold View Primary School. She represents the Labour Party and was elected during the 2024 general election.
