Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 4th congressional district since 1999. A member of the Democratic Party and the Blue Dog Coalition, he previously served in the California State Senate and as a U.S. Army veteran of the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam. Throughout his tenure in Congress, Thompson has focused on issues such as health care reform, gun violence prevention, and environmental policy.
