Mikhail Murashko

Mikhail Albertovich Murashko is a Russian physician and statesman currently serving as the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, a position he has held since January 2020. A trained obstetrician-gynecologist, he previously served as the head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor) and as the Minister of Health of the Komi Republic. Throughout his career, he has focused on medical quality control and healthcare administration. Due to his role in the Russian government during the invasion of Ukraine, he is subject to international sanctions from several countries.
