A graduated sanitary engineer, she has been active in local politics in Sjenica since 2012, previously serving as deputy mayor and as a member of the municipal council. In addition to her parliamentary duties, she is an elected delegate in the Bosniak National Council and currently serves as an opposition member in the Sjenica municipal assembly.
