Miriam Strunge is a German politician and member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, representing the party The Left (Die Linke). Born in Bonn, she completed a voluntary service in Romania before studying political science in Bremen and Krakow, eventually earning a master's degree in social policy from the University of Bremen in 2017. Strunge has been active in politics since 2011, serving as federal spokesperson for the youth organization Linksjugend ['solid] from 2013 to 2015. Since her election to the Bremen state parliament in 2015, she has focused on education, culture, and social policy, serving as a deputy parliamentary group leader and chair of the Deputation for Children and Education.
