Mirjam Sterk

Mirjam Sterk is a Dutch politician who currently serves as the Minister for Long-term Care, Youth and Sport in the Jetten cabinet. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), she previously served as a member of the House of Representatives from 2002 to 2012, where she focused on integration and social affairs. Before her current ministerial appointment, she was a member of the provincial executive of Utrecht. Sterk holds a degree in theology from Utrecht University and was awarded the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2012.
