Mirka Lukić Šarkanović is a Serbian politician, medical doctor, and academic who has served as a member of the National Assembly of Serbia since 2022. Born in Novi Sad in 1968, she completed her medical education at the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Medicine, where she later earned her doctorate and built an academic career in medicine and pain management alongside her clinical work at the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina. A member of the Socialist Party of Serbia since its formation in 1990, she previously served on the Novi Sad city assembly and has been active in parliamentary committees concerning health, family, education, and human rights.
