Misty Van Popta

Misty Van Popta is a Canadian politician serving as a member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the electoral district of Langley-Walnut Grove since 2024. A member of the Conservative Party, she previously served as a councillor for the Township of Langley from 2022 until 2025. Before entering provincial politics, Van Popta worked as a project manager in the construction industry and held roles in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors. In the legislature, she serves as the opposition critic for infrastructure and construction, focusing on issues such as health care, transit, and school overcrowding.
