Mizuki Higa is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly. Born in Naha in 1974, he graduated from Okinawa University and previously worked at the Okinawa Kyodo Hospital. He served three terms as a Naha City Council member before being elected to the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly in 2014. A member of the Japanese Communist Party, Higa is a prominent advocate for the 'All Okinawa' movement, actively opposing the construction of the new U.S. military base in Henoko and supporting the administration of Governor Denny Tamaki.
