Mmusi Maimane

Mmusi Maimane is a South African politician and the leader of the political party Build One South Africa. He previously served as the leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA) from 2015 to 2019 and was the first black South African to hold that position. Before his national leadership roles, he served as the Leader of the Official Opposition in the Johannesburg City Council. Maimane is also a pastor and holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Public Management and Governance. He is known for his focus on social justice, economic reform, and building a more inclusive political landscape in South Africa.
