Mohamad Sabu

Mohamad Sabu is a Malaysian politician currently serving as the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security and as the Member of Parliament for Kota Raja. A prominent figure in Malaysian politics, he is the founding president of the National Trust Party (AMANAH) and a key leader within the Pakatan Harapan coalition. Previously, he served as the Minister of Defence from 2018 to 2020. Known for his public speaking skills, he has been a long-time advocate for progressive reform and was formerly a senior leader in the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS).
