Mohamud Noor

Mohamud Noor is an American politician serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2019. Born in Somalia, he emigrated to the United States in 1999 and settled in Minnesota. Before his legislative career, he worked as a system administrator for the Minnesota Department of Human Services and served as the director of the Confederation of Somali Community in Minnesota. Noor has focused his political career on addressing racial disparities in health care, education, and housing, while advocating for investments in the green economy and immigrant rights.
