Mollie Burke

Mollie S. Burke is an American politician serving as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing the Windham-8 district. Raised in Buffalo, New York, she moved to Vermont in 1970 and began her political career in local government as a town meeting representative in Brattleboro in 1990. First elected to the state house in 2008, she has been a consistent advocate for progressive policies, including supporting same-sex marriage legislation and endorsing candidates such as Bernie Sanders. Throughout her tenure, she has served on the Transportation committee and has been repeatedly reelected to her seat.
