Morgan Cephas is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 192nd district in Philadelphia. Born and raised in West Philadelphia, she graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in political science. Prior to her election to the state legislature in 2016, she worked as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Philadelphia City Councilman Curtis Jones, Jr. During her tenure in the House, she has served as deputy whip and as a member of PennVEST. Cephas is also active in national politics, having been elected as a delegate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention.
