杉山 盛雄

Morio Sugiyama is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly, representing Numazu City. First elected in 1999, he has served seven terms and previously held the positions of Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Prefectural Assembly. Before his political career, he worked as a policy secretary to a member of the House of Representatives and served as the chairman of the Numazu Gakuen educational foundation. He is affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party and focuses on regional development, disaster prevention, and local infrastructure.
