Moshe Gafni

Moshe Gafni is an Israeli politician and a long-serving Member of the Knesset, currently leading the Ashkenazi Haredi party, United Torah Judaism. First elected in 1988, he has held various parliamentary roles, including serving as the chairman of the Knesset's Finance Committee. Throughout his career, Gafni has been a prominent advocate for Haredi interests, often taking conservative stances on religious and social issues, including strong opposition to the recognition of non-Orthodox Jewish movements and same-sex marriage in Israel.
