Mostafa Madbouly

Mostafa Madbouly is an Egyptian politician and urban planner who has served as the Prime Minister of Egypt since 2018. Before his appointment as Prime Minister, he held the position of Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, where he oversaw major national infrastructure projects including the development of the New Administrative Capital. An academic and expert in urban planning, he previously served as the regional director for Arab countries at the United Nations Human Settlements Program and as chairman of the General Organisation for Physical Planning. His administration has focused on economic reform programs and large-scale urban development initiatives across Egypt.
